Victorian Skills Reform

From 1 January 2010 the Victorian Training Guarantee has been further enhanced to include:

• Young people aged 15 – 19 years who are undertaking an AQF level qualification at any qualification level regardless of prior level of qualification held; or
• Young people aged 20 – 24 years who are undertaking an AQF level qualification higher than the highest qualification held; or
• Retrenched workers aged 25 years and over who are undertaking an AQF level qualification higher than the highest qualification held

Age is calculated as at 1 January in the year of the scheduled commencement in training.
